I understand and agree to receive newsletters relating the Great Outdoors Festival at the address included in the application. I agree to having my name and information added to a volunteer database which may be used by InterMedia Outdoors, Inc.; staff members, contracted vendors and volunteer managers for current and future Great Outdoors Festival purposes. I understand I may also be contacted in the future regarding Festival matters and events unrelated to my volunteer activities, and may be requested to participate in surveys regarding the Great Outdoors Festival . I understand that neither InterMedia Outdoors nor the Great Outdoors Festival will sell my name and/or information for marketing or solicitation purposes.

By signing up as Great Outdoors Festival volunteer, I understand that I am committing to providing at least 12 hours of service during the Festival.

Volunteer Duties and Responsibilities

Ambassador Committee - Act as liaison between the exhibitors, sponsors, convention services and show management via answering questions and securing resources before and during the Festival. Ambassadors will need to work Wednesday and Thursday before the event. Please plan accordingly.

Archery Village - Supervise firing line, assist attendees with bow selection, proper usage, and arrow retrieval. Assist Village Managers and manufacturers as needed.

ATV Village - Monitor the tracks and assist attendees with safety equipment and proper usage of the vehicles. Assist Village Managers and manufacturers as needed.

Biking and Camping Village - Supervise the bike track, climbing walls and assist attendees with safety gear and proper usage of the equipment. Assist Village Managers and manufacturers as needed.

Conservation Village - Assist Village Managers and non-profit agencies with their conservation exhibits as needed. Monitor fundraising by Conservation Organizations.

Fishing Village - Supervise casting and canoes/kayaks in the pond and assist attendees with safety gear, equipment selection and proper usage. Assist Village Managers and manufacturers as needed.

Youth Activities- Assist Village Managers and children of all ages with hands-on activities promoting conservation and environmental awareness.

Information Services - Distribute Festival information and answer attendee questions. Work in close proximity to Waiver Control.

Medical Services - Coordinate medical and emergency services at the event. Credentials required.

Off-Road Village - Monitor the tracks and assist attendees with safety equipment and proper usage of the vehicles. Assist Village Managers and manufacturers as needed.

Operations Management - Assist Show Management with administrative duties. Set-up before the event and take-down after the event. Assist with various other duties.

Shooting Sports Village- Supervise firing line and assist attendees with safety equipment and proper usage of equipment. Assist Village Managers and manufacturers as needed.

Sporting Dog Village - Supervise dog water jumping and agility activities, and assist Village Managers and manufacturers as needed.

VIP Lounge - Act as host in the VIP Lounge, monitor entrance. Assist Village Managers and manufacturers as needed. Volunteer Hospitality Services - Coordinate volunteer check-in and meal preparation and distribution, and assist Village Managers as needed.

Waiver Control- Coordinate completion of waiver release forms, distribute wristbands, and assist Village Managers as needed. Work in close proximity to Information Services.
